Here's Our Story

In 1991, Robert Serfas, an industrial brush salesman, had a radical notion that he could do more for his customers than just offer brushes–he could help them solve problems, so they could get back to doing what they do best.

So he started his own company with a single truck and a typewriter and put quality in the name as a promise to his customers. A promise we take great pride in keeping today.

Quality is what we source, what we provide, and what we believe in.

While it always begins with offering customers like you the highest quality products, to us, quality is a way of life, and it inspires everything we do.

We find joy in helping people, because we count ourselves lucky to work with the best of them: people who care that their customers are safe when they come to their restaurant for a bite to eat, when they enjoy their freshly brewed beers, pick up a prescription at their pharmacy, and buy groceries from their corner stores.

Yeah, We’re Dog People

Here at RSQP, we value giving back to our community. Most often, we give our time and resources to causes that support our favorite four-legged friends. As you can see from our team photos, our dogs are close to our hearts and very much a part of our crew. Every single team member owns a rescue dog, so we especially enjoy helping find forever homes for other furry friends in our community.

We’re always hoping to return the love our canine companions give us, and we think that aligns well with our way of doing business. Every day we get to help someone out—whether they stand on two legs or four—is a good day in our book.

So, About Our Logo

The story behind our logo is actually pretty simple. When our founder, Bob, isn’t working, you’re likely to find him somewhere near the water, fishing pole in hand. When Bob started the company, it was important to him that he and his employees maintain a work/life balance and always leave time to enjoy simple pleasures—which for him, always meant casting a line.
